Authentication and transfers run through this desk and nowhere else, and every sale is announced and confirmed here before it happens anywhere. Lysey documents lies for a living; its artworks are built so they cannot carry one.

Releases and sales are announced at lysey.com/art. A work offered anywhere else without a custody confirmation is not authorised.

Verification

Every work carries three proofs.

  1. The fingerprint. The full making record of each work is sealed, and its SHA-256 fingerprint is published with the work at lysey.com/art. It proves the image and the date. It is public, and copying it proves nothing more than that.
  2. The register. Each work has one work ID and, in the custody register, exactly one holder at a time. The register never becomes public; it answers yes-or-no questions.
  3. The torn token. A stamped registration card is torn in two at release: one half travels with the certificate, one half stays in the archive. A tear is a fingerprint. When it matters, the halves must fit.

No wallet, no token, no chain. A hash, a register and a torn piece of card: a paper chain. It has outlived every technology that promised to replace it.

To verify a work or a seller, write to custody@lysey.com with the work ID on the certificate. You will receive a yes or a no.

Transfers

Ownership moves through this desk. The current holder reports the transfer, the register is updated, and the new holder receives confirmation. Chain of custody, unbroken, from the first release onward.
